Do I need to take a class before
I can file for Bankruptcy?

Yes but its not a 'test' and you can take the class on-line in the privacy of your home.

There are also a few companies that offer the class in person in Seattle and in a few nearby cities (although if you are reading this, you have access to a computer and taking the class on-line is private which is appealing to most of our clients). Fees for the class range from $25 to $50. If a married couple takes the class on-line, most class providers will discount the fee for the second class. We have heard good things about Allen Credit Counseling although there are many other providers who offer the classes.
